This course is suitable for participants of various age groups whose professional or personal use of the English language has been dormant for some time. The aim of the course is to improve your communicative skills while refreshing and expanding your vocabulary and grammar in English.
In this course, you will learn how to express yourself confidently in a range of real-life situations. The focus is on discussing current and thought-provoking topics from everyday life, work, travel, and culture. The course also includes targeted exercises to develop listening and reading comprehension, broaden vocabulary, and refine your understanding of grammar structures.
Upon completion of the course, you will be able to communicate more fluently and participate in extended conversations on a variety of familiar and relevant subjects.

We'll also use "Read On". This paper provides interesting and recent news from various English speaking countries, written by native speakers in easy English. There is an English-German wordlist along with each article. Reading and discussing articles dealing with current topics from all kinds of fields, like politics, society, environment, science, culture, sports, history, or entertainment, will improve your speaking and listening skills, and expand and enrich your vocabulary. If necessary, we'll smooth out recurring grammatical problems. And all this in a relaxed and fun classroom environment!
